🏛️ What Is the Foundation Festival?
The Foundation Festival is a yearly civic holiday celebrated across the United Empire of Earth (UEE) throughout the month of July. Originally proposed in SEY 2861 by Imperator Gayatri Deomana, this festival is more than just a celebration — it’s a cultural initiative aimed at strengthening community bonds across the stars.
During this time, both Citizens and civilians are encouraged to participate in volunteer efforts, mentorship programs, and humanitarian work. Local and imperial organizations, as well as independent charities, often see their volunteer slots fill to capacity.
To support this surge in goodwill, the UEE government offers a variety of short-term service opportunities — from environmental cleanup events to direct mentorship of new pilots. It’s also a chance for civilians to demonstrate their dedication to the empire; repeat volunteerism during Foundation Festival can count toward qualifying for full Citizenship.
