Virpil Buyer Guide

Expensive things can still have good value if you use them often or daily

Your Hardware is your only physical interaction with the game

Choose Hardware FIRST, then fake ships @Noobifier

A pair of sticks you will need to buy two bases and two grips. Each base and grip are sold separately plan you budget accordingly.

Lets Start with the Gimbal or other wise known as the Base

Our Recommendation

When in doubt go with the VPC WarBRD

If money is no object get the MT-50CM3 (Requires mount) and get Monster Tech Mounts (See Buyers Guide for Mounts)

VPC WarBRD Base – Just works, attach baseplate, grip, and calibrate

MT-50CM3 (CM2 Upgrade) – Ideal for extensions or advanced setups, customization can allow the setup of a dead stick (See Noobifier Video)

Short Technical of

WarBRD, CM2, and CM3

For a more informed buying decision watch the Noobifier video above. He does a great overview video of the VPC WarBRD, MT-50CM2, and MT-50CM3

Flight-Stick Grips Recommended for Star Citizen

In Depth Alpha Review

Alpha and Alpha Prime

In Depth Alpha PRIME Review

Our Recommendation

We recommend the Z Extension for the your throttle stick, for either of Virpil Alpha HoSaS solutions you may choose. The build of the Prime takes the premium experience of an alpha grip to an entirely different level. Thankfully at this price range and build the quality is not in question, rather it all comes down to each buyers personal preference and budget limitations.

Control Panels

Three Control Panels and A Throttle (Image not shown, See Video)

Our Recommendation

Skip all panels until you have designed your setup, there are so many options use your imagination.

The Sharka-50 : This panel gives you the most buttons and levers, but labels are printed on it

Control Panel #1: Virpil & MonsterTechUSA have mulitple mount options for all panels

Control Panel #2: Can pair with 1 and 2 using Virpil mount kits for a uniform asthetic

Virpil Rudders aka Flight Pedals
