    Survivor To Hero Returns

On September 7th 2017 Survivor To Hero relaunched as a media broadcast, education, and coaching company. In truth, this was the intended mandate when we incorporated. However, as many of you may relate to the phrase. We bit off more than we could chew. It was a great Idea but David was over extended. Now that he is nearing the final stage of His PHD his heart jumped back into action.

You will find the Facebook Survivor To Hero page alive and active again. We have added new YouTube channels in which we will be posting video podcasts, Informational Videos, Tutorials, Product reviews, and Feature visionary leaders with powerful missions in the personal development communities. The biggest changes to the Survivor To Hero business model is that we will be providing information for free and generate revenue mostly from your support when you click links of products reviewed. Some supplementary revenue will be generated from our merchandise store (Survivor To Hero Swag), YouTube/Google Ad revenue, and various consulting projects.

David will also be available live on Twitch so you can hang out, be entertained, and ask questions.
The new website for Survivor To Hero is under construction but the majority of content will be posted on various social media platforms. Check out the blog for new stories and on going updates of how Survivor To Hero is evolving to meet the needs of the current markets.

Most Common Question: Will David still work with clients one to one?
A: Yes! David will be working with select clients one to one. Keep an eye out for the new 1 to 1 offerings that are coming soon.

Most medical illnesses, situational trauma’s like the divorce process, job challenges, time-management and even mental illness revolve around factors of stress. David has embraced a new title to help address these problems, Stress Consultant.

In the coming weeks and months, you will also see changes to the website informational content and new programs offered that are thoughtfully crafted to help you overcome stress, improve relationships, transform your life and move from Survivor To Hero®.

    Simplifying The Process

Sometimes to simplify the process of the easiest and fastest way is to start over. Who hasn’t been in a relationship, had a really big dream, or started a really big project and then discovered that it quickly overwhelmed you. Had there been an instruction manual it might’ve read be careful this may take hours, stay organized, focused, and be clear with every action you take.

However that isn’t the truth path to success because without failure we really don’t achieve our greatness. I mean sure it sounds nice to actually do things right the first time. Yet when I observe people who’ve done it right the first time over and over and over I clearly see that that they are not challenged, or they are challenged and a rising to the occasion each time. Those who keep succeeding and keep rising to the occasion and overcoming the problems every time do eventually hit the wall.

It is when people hit the wall, it is when you get stuck and discouraged, it is when that thing that you worked so hard on and spent so much time doing doesn’t work… That you really learn who you are. It is when we fail but her characters tested. In America we have a lot of technology and this technology promotes immediate thinking. For example when you get a text you often feel the urge to respond. This illustrates the fundamental challenge of our society. Our technology has allowed us to do things so easily we expect everything should be easy. So when we enter a relationship, so when we enter a problem, so when we do something that really matters to us and it doesn’t work out right away we are naturally discouraged.

I am in a place of starting over.

I will be simplifying the process by reevaluating and focusing on the very elements of things that I do easily and well. I don’t look at this last year as a failure, quite the contrary. I look at this last year as the infrastructure that will become the very backbone and skeleton of Survivor To Hero ®. As previously mentioned Survivor To Hero will be changing, to become a platform to support others and offer workshops and opportunities to for amazing helpers and healers to share with you improve your life their transformational work that will help change your life.

I will be offering my services primarily focused on stress reduction, life coaching and direction, and mentorship. Get help now LLC will become the center for my own private services if you wish to work with me, David Anderson, then you can sign up for a session on get help now or click the work with me button on

When you start over you get to start a new. You get to learn from the past and integrate all of those amazing things and start a new project. Release the stigma of failure. Embrace the lessons, the growth, the changed person that you are and take a proactive approach to design or plan or just do something to celebrate who you are now in the person you are committing to become.

I have a confession, I have been hiding. I been hiding in my work I been distracting myself with other people’s problems and projects and not devoting my time to my dreams and goals. And sometimes that is all right this last year I created amazing infrastructure for my business, I became very clear about what we are can be doing in the future in the book I’m going to be publishing, and most importantly I helped some pretty amazing people get their ideas off the ground and ready to go.

Most importantly I was hiding because I was doing too much I was afraid of taking on more I didn’t trust myself. So the last six weeks I have been letting go of things that no longer serve me. I stepped down from a nonprofit executive position, for which I was a founding member, and the universe stepped in the perfect person showed up to take my place. After two long years I completed my service. I started saying no. I started valuing my ideas again, instead of giving them away, and most importantly I implemented a pay scale that is hourly and packages that serves my clients and myself.

If you want to work with me I no longer do free consultations because you will get so much during this first session you may not need another session. So I work hourly and lessee by package.

I did this for two reasons one I found it amazing person who was living her dream, and is my soul sister, sharing her amazing gifts, traveling around the world, and using an hourly model. When I asked her about this: why she was ignoring what all the online marketers were saying she had the most beautiful response: I don’t need to be rich I just want to be happy. I did the math I found out how much I needed to make I set a price that was in alignment with both of these goals to be happy and making enough to live comfortably, and I let everything else fall where it may. She’s booked she works of moving stars she travels around the world and as I mentioned she’s my soul sister. We met at Brian Weiss’s past life regression event if that helps explain things and we instantly clicked like brother and sister reunited.

So this is me listening to my wise sister’s advice charge what is fair to me that is in alignment with two I am, that pays my bills, and offers amazing quality service to my clients. Sometimes you just got a start over and simplify the process. Welcome Survivor To Hero my name is David “StarrTouch” Anderson. And if you want to work with me I would love to help you with your challenges. A marketing everything from the basis of stress reduction which includes my standard life coaching. And even though I will not be broadcasting on the main page I was still also be offering services a divorce support, past life regression, and academic success or GPA recovery as I call it, and intuitive career coaching.

Thank you for taking the time to read this update, and I hope it helps you, and inspires you to see where you need to make changes in your life and the start over if necessary to simplify the process and take action. You can do it! And if you need help just book a session with me at

Hello 2013! May everyone experience positive changes and action.

Hello friends I am returning from my technology hiatus and deep personal reflection.

During my time away I visited family whom I haven’t seen in over 2 years. During that time they had the opportunity to experience me being my new me…the me that showed up after my great personal healing and growth. It was a profound experience for me to witness as I noticed each family member start to let go of old stories and become more present about where they want to go now. In the past my family experiences motivated me to find direction in my own life, so that I would not repeat their mistakes; thus choosing to learn through observation and reflection. I am so grateful to share that I have had the opportunity to learn through inspiration, love and gratitude for my family during this last visit.

Like many Americans, my families financial world fell apart and the world they new changed over-night. In the face of this change my Father and Mother chose to find an opportunity. It was the first time that we have all had time available to spend with each other so we took our 2nd ever, real family vacation. This vacation was transformational for me personally because I needed time to deeply reflect on my life and work, reflections that I will share shortly below. Most of us got sick on the vacation but we all remained in positive spirits. Before my very eyes I witnessed a family that normally always focuses on the negative, consciously choose to look for positives in the situation. It was as if the Survivor To Hero® philosophy had been programmed into their airplane boarding passes and some how sneaked into their attitude when they walked off the plane. I am especially proud of my family and if they read this, I want to express my deep admiration for their beautiful souls, actions and efforts to truly BE.

    Conclusions of my Reflections

My work the last two years has been synergistic and evolved with my own journey. I have worked with clients in many different capacities, developed programs, taught yoga and been party to a wonderful Wellness Community in the Washington DC area. Leaving the counseling world I had a deep desire to create programs and stepping stones for those still in their victim story to transcend and start living from their Hero story, but my hearts passion has always been longing to support the heroes of this world, with my gifts and tools. From that realization I began to rebuild my website and shift my primary energies.

    Program Changes

Survivor To Hero™ will still be offering Self-Help programs such as the Awakened Hero Series, The Self-Reboot, Meditation Library, and College Success Secrets. However we will be focusing our Live Events, like Group Coaching, Retreats and Workshops to help the Heroes of the world. The most exciting and profound change is the launch of the Hero Leadership Program, which will be different every offering depending on topics of interest yet still have the foundation approach of preparing the Hero to Walk the Talk and take Action NOW! 😀 I will be offering this program for the original price point it was designed due to the results I have consistently witnessed when my clients and clients of my colleagues invest in themselves.

Working with my One to One Clients

I am teaching meditation to a remarkable individual that is a brand specialist who started asking me some interesting questions about my time and goals. Being a professional change expert the sound of questions made when they resonated in my heart was unmistakable. The outcome of this event is that I will be making time in my schedule to accommodate at 5 new Personal Consulting clients at this time.

The term Personal Consulting is an inclusive term which I feel best describes the Personal and Professional Development work I am feeling called to help clients with. As you may or may not know about my skills or talents it can be briefly summarized as follows:

    • I have a Masters in Community Counseling and a National Certified Counselor (NCC)
    • I am a Certified Professional Coach and I am a Certified Yoga Instructor
    • Highly skilled at being in the moment, holding sacred space to deal with the emotions at hand and helping clients come up with a plan of action based on his or her values. I act as your coach, cheerleader, co-strategist, accountability buddy and personal confidant for all kinds of life events or issues.
    • My diverse training helps me compartmentalize the issues with you. We don’t do counseling work, we do action work. Yes validating emotions and issues as they arise, but in my opinion understanding the past is secondary to being happy in the present and feeling positive about ones future. Should a clinical counseling issue arise I am very qualified and very happy to work with clients to find the appropriate service provider.

I am breaking down the way I work with clients into the following ways:

    • Standard Personal Consulting: Sessions are conducted  over the phone or via skype for flexibility to schedules and allow greater client access.
    • VIP Personal Consulting: In-person visit for 5-8 hours a day for 1-3 days depending on agreement. This also includes 3 x weekly check-in sessions for that month for continued support or preparation.
    • Helper Consulting: Service for coaches, helpers, healers and yogis to create leveraged programs or to enhance their offerings.

As of the time of this posting we have 5 clients slots available, and an additional 2 slots can be made available for VIP’s if given 2 weeks notice.

Meet two complimentary Heroes: Jordan Burnham and Lauren Anderson of JAF

Jordan Burnham is a Suicide attempt survivor that had a lot going for him. Good looking, popular guy in school, great student athlete and then depression struck. I had an amazing opportunity to listen to Jordan’s story and meet him in person. He should have died but didn’t and now he shares his story with teens to help raise awareness about mental health issues. Jordan is living his hero story and turning something that was negative into a positive.

Lauren Anderson of the Josh Anderson Foundation (JAF), who is also my joint venture partner, is also a Survivor turned Hero. She survived the loss of her brother via suicide and transformed her loss into an opportunity to help others. She came to schools with a passionate and burning desire to raise mental health awareness, support and resources for teens. Both of these amazing individuals were effected by grief loss and depression on the opposite side of the coin and worked together to create opportunities for teens to seek help and talk, rather then suffer in silence.
