Most medical illnesses, situational trauma’s like the divorce process, job challenges, time-management and even mental illness revolve around factors of stress. David has embraced a new title to help address these problems, Stress Consultant.

In the coming weeks and months, you will also see changes to the website informational content and new programs offered that are thoughtfully crafted to help you overcome stress, improve relationships, transform your life and move from Survivor To Hero®.

Simplifying The Process

Sometimes to simplify the process of the easiest and fastest way is to start over. Who hasn’t been in a relationship, had a really big dream, or started a really big project and then discovered that it quickly overwhelmed you. Had there been an instruction manual it might’ve read be careful this may take hours, stay organized, focused, and be clear with every action you take.

However that isn’t the truth path to success because without failure we really don’t achieve our greatness. I mean sure it sounds nice to actually do things right the first time. Yet when I observe people who’ve done it right the first time over and over and over I clearly see that that they are not challenged, or they are challenged and a rising to the occasion each time. Those who keep succeeding and keep rising to the occasion and overcoming the problems every time do eventually hit the wall.

It is when people hit the wall, it is when you get stuck and discouraged, it is when that thing that you worked so hard on and spent so much time doing doesn’t work… That you really learn who you are. It is when we fail but her characters tested. In America we have a lot of technology and this technology promotes immediate thinking. For example when you get a text you often feel the urge to respond. This illustrates the fundamental challenge of our society. Our technology has allowed us to do things so easily we expect everything should be easy. So when we enter a relationship, so when we enter a problem, so when we do something that really matters to us and it doesn’t work out right away we are naturally discouraged.

I am in a place of starting over.

I will be simplifying the process by reevaluating and focusing on the very elements of things that I do easily and well. I don’t look at this last year as a failure, quite the contrary. I look at this last year as the infrastructure that will become the very backbone and skeleton of Survivor To Hero ®. As previously mentioned Survivor To Hero will be changing, to become a platform to support others and offer workshops and opportunities to for amazing helpers and healers to share with you improve your life their transformational work that will help change your life.

I will be offering my services primarily focused on stress reduction, life coaching and direction, and mentorship. Get help now LLC will become the center for my own private services if you wish to work with me, David Anderson, then you can sign up for a session on get help now or click the work with me button on

When you start over you get to start a new. You get to learn from the past and integrate all of those amazing things and start a new project. Release the stigma of failure. Embrace the lessons, the growth, the changed person that you are and take a proactive approach to design or plan or just do something to celebrate who you are now in the person you are committing to become.

I have a confession, I have been hiding. I been hiding in my work I been distracting myself with other people’s problems and projects and not devoting my time to my dreams and goals. And sometimes that is all right this last year I created amazing infrastructure for my business, I became very clear about what we are can be doing in the future in the book I’m going to be publishing, and most importantly I helped some pretty amazing people get their ideas off the ground and ready to go.

Most importantly I was hiding because I was doing too much I was afraid of taking on more I didn’t trust myself. So the last six weeks I have been letting go of things that no longer serve me. I stepped down from a nonprofit executive position, for which I was a founding member, and the universe stepped in the perfect person showed up to take my place. After two long years I completed my service. I started saying no. I started valuing my ideas again, instead of giving them away, and most importantly I implemented a pay scale that is hourly and packages that serves my clients and myself.

If you want to work with me I no longer do free consultations because you will get so much during this first session you may not need another session. So I work hourly and lessee by package.

I did this for two reasons one I found it amazing person who was living her dream, and is my soul sister, sharing her amazing gifts, traveling around the world, and using an hourly model. When I asked her about this: why she was ignoring what all the online marketers were saying she had the most beautiful response: I don’t need to be rich I just want to be happy. I did the math I found out how much I needed to make I set a price that was in alignment with both of these goals to be happy and making enough to live comfortably, and I let everything else fall where it may. She’s booked she works of moving stars she travels around the world and as I mentioned she’s my soul sister. We met at Brian Weiss’s past life regression event if that helps explain things and we instantly clicked like brother and sister reunited.

So this is me listening to my wise sister’s advice charge what is fair to me that is in alignment with two I am, that pays my bills, and offers amazing quality service to my clients. Sometimes you just got a start over and simplify the process. Welcome Survivor To Hero my name is David “StarrTouch” Anderson. And if you want to work with me I would love to help you with your challenges. A marketing everything from the basis of stress reduction which includes my standard life coaching. And even though I will not be broadcasting on the main page I was still also be offering services a divorce support, past life regression, and academic success or GPA recovery as I call it, and intuitive career coaching.

Thank you for taking the time to read this update, and I hope it helps you, and inspires you to see where you need to make changes in your life and the start over if necessary to simplify the process and take action. You can do it! And if you need help just book a session with me at

The fire of forced reflection

Sometimes we must shed the layers…

Sometimes we have to do so despite our desire to keep them. Situations and circumstances can become comfortable because they are familiar, and even though they could be helpful sometimes we have to just let them go. Why? Why? WHY?! We want to know why! The answer to the why we seek is rarely directly visible, in front or behind us. The answer to why we must shed the layers is on the other side of the mountain. It is the uncomfortable knowing that certain events have led you to a particular moment.

The moment…

The moment is often a cliff. On this cliff you find a hang-glider that requires some minor assembly but it looks like it will fly and you have all the parts. Behind you there is a raging fire, leaving devastation in its wake. The fire is progressing and has led you to this cliff and it apparently is your fortune to find an insane devise that could in theory take you from this predicament.

Wishful thinking…

Still unsure but without options you assemble the glider, delaying the moment as long as you can. This is not the first time you’ve been in such a challenging situation after all, and you’ve always gotten out of it in the past. Maybe the fire will burn it self out or the wind will shift direction before you have to will yourself to ignore your fear of heights and trust a flimsy insane contraption to carry you off the cliff.

The universal push…

The wind then changed and you breathed a sigh of relief…suddenly it shifts again with even more force and vigor your direction. The fire accelerates and you have run out of time.

But you are a survivor…

You can’t just sit here and die…

It would be easier to give up…

But there is something deep inside you that speaks to you.

Your adventure is not over…

Besides wouldn’t you rather take a risk and perish trying to save your life then waiting to die?

The old you…

the old victim you…might have given up.

Then again that old victim you would have never been brave to journey up a mountain for an adventure, in an exercise to live life and appreciate nature.

No. You are different now… Now you make decisions, even the ones that suck.

You know in your heart that if you do nothing you will be making a decision. Thus the only choice that is in alignment with who you are right now, goes against everything that you knew for sure 30 minutes ago, no training, no experience, and a huge fear of heights on the edge of a massive cliff with a mysterious hang-glider that was left here as if by angels. This choice appeared and now you as you stand ready to launch gripping for dear life wondering if you have the urge to jump the wind howls the heat from the flame presses on your body and invisible hands seem to push you over the edge…

The gift of the unknown and unexpected…

You scream in terror, yet your grip is iron and then…

Surrender. The rush of wind past your ears and creates silence in the white noise…there is peace in the lack of control. For now you are trusting and praying and all you have is now. Yet you have gotten this far…

You find yourself…

As you take in the experience, the beauty of the unexpected, you are alive right now and you have no idea why. Layer by layer you have shed. You are becoming something new…bound less by fear and more by hope. You must have a calling because the universe keeps saving you. Maybe it’s time to move on…after all who knows where you might land now. Maybe it’s time to rediscover who you are and what you want, to focus and take some action…

Changing your password can change your life…

This article is from I’ve linked it here and at the end of the abridged repost below.

“How could she do something like this to me?” said the voice in my head, over and over.

It was 2011 and I was stuck in middle of a pretty bad depression due to my divorce.

Thankfully, I think I was smart enough (and had great people around me) so I managed my way out.

One day I walk into the office, and my computer screen showed me the following message:

“Your password has expired. Click ‘Change password’ to change your password.”

I read this dumb message in my mind with angry grandpa voice: The darn password has expired.

At my workplace, the Microsoft Exchange server is configured to ask thousands of employees around the planet to change their passwords. Every 30 days.

Here what’s annoying: The server forces us to use at least one UPPERCASE character, at least one lowercase alphabetic character, at least one symbol and at least one number. Oh, and the whole thing can’t be less than 8 characters. And I can’t use any of the same passwords I’ve used in the last 3 months.

I was furious that morning. A sizzling hot Tuesday, it was 9:40 a.m and I was late to work. I was still wearing my bike helmet and had forgotten to eat breakfast. I needed to get things done before a 10 a.m. meeting and changing passwords was going to be a huge waste of time.

As the input field with the pulsating cursor was waiting for me to type a password — something I’d use many times during every day — I remembered a tip I heard from my former boss.

And I decided: I’m gonna use a password to change my life.

It was obvious that I couldn’t focus on getting things done with my current lifestyle and mood. Of course, there were clear indicators of what I needed to do — or what I had to achieve — in order to regain control of my life, but we often don’t pay attention to these clues.

The author, who changed his password…and his life.

My password became the indicator. My password reminded me that I shouldn’t let myself be victim of my recent break up, and that I’m strong enough to do something about it.

My password became: “Forgive@h3r”

I had to type this statement several times a day. Each time my computer would lock. Each time my screensaver with her photo would appear. Each time I would come back from eating lunch alone.

In my mind, I went with the mantra that I didn’t type a password. In my mind, I wrote “Forgive her” every day, for one month.

That simple action changed the way I looked at my ex wife. That constant reminder that I should forgive her led me to accept the way things happened at the end of my marriage, and embrace a new way of dealing with the depression that I was drowning into.

In the following days, my mood improved drastically. By the end of the second week, I noticed that this password became less powerful, and it started to lose its effect. A quick refresh of this ‘mantra’ helped me. I thought to myself “I forgive her” as I typed it, every time. The healing effect of it came back almost immediately.

Can password therapy really improve your life?

One month later, my dear exchange server asked me again to renew my password. I thought about the next thing I had to get done.

My password became: Quit@smoking4ever

When life is kicking you, remember…

I’m going to try something new. Finding time to blog never been easy. However I feel that with all the changes going on recently probably time I started again.

One of the great blessings of my life is that I get to meet so many different people in so many different search situations of life circumstances. I’ve noticed recently in the last few months that many people are going through a lot of challenges with relationships a lot of challenges with unforeseen life circumstances just kicking the crap out of them. And my heart has gone out to these folks and I’ve been inspired by the character and struggled that witnessed. Sometimes things happen like that definitely are not fair or not easy and we are given a challenge or task that we don’t know if we can do; However it is in those times and in those moments when we are tested that we begin to realize how strong we really are deep inside. Ironically it’s not that we don’t know we have strength it’s that we fully don’t embrace this knowledge is a reality until we see it demonstrated and reflect upon the tragedy or the hardships.

Recently I decided to start journaling again. I’ve stopped because I noticed my journal was just a bunch of bad things and negative comments and that I would only write in my journal when I was feeling sad or upset and needed some place to vent. And while that was very helpful for my psyche in the moment when I reflected I realized I didn’t have many positive things recorded. Hadn’t taken time to reflect upon the positive things and write them down in this document of posterity. And when I realized was that as I took a moment and looked at all of these negative situations that I’ve been through I could now write the positive outcomes. I can write down how I grown, I could write down the lessons that I learned along the way and how it changed. Sometimes a severe new journal entry that wouldn’t necessarily make sense, and other times I would go back and just add a little addendum to it.

No matter what challenges you’re going through I like to think of this idea because it makes me feel better that God never gives us more than we can handle. Sometimes also say to myself I’m a spiritual being having a human experience. Now my spiritual beliefs aside I find this idea can be helpful because it breaks limitation of the problem it creates an opportunity to see into the future that there is a version of us they got past this problem that survived it. And hopefully learn to transcendence and evolved. To me love and compassion or spiritual traits that everyone happens where everyone is capable of having.

And so I just want to encourage you that if you are struggling today that if you were feeling you are facing a problem but you don’t know how you can overcome or succeed there are people out there believe in you. I am one of those people the sees the potential in others and helps coach them through it. Or rather I help people see the truth is been there in front of the book they been too close or too afraid to knowledge. Sometimes it’s like the artist who sees the sculpture or the painting inside the blank canvas or uncut marble. As we need people to believe in us because we are afraid that were not good enough. And that person’s willpower that person’s belief in this and make all the difference.

So I have a challenge for you if you are struggling and you are just not able to believe in yourself right now then look around and see who also might be struggling and try believing in them and letting them know that you believe they can do it. You don’t have to have the answers you just need to see the person’s potential and earnestly and honestly let them know in no uncertain terms that they can get through this trial and tribulation. But the outcome may not be exactly what they’re desiring right now but that it will help them grow it will help them become better and they are going to be stepping into their greatest dreams, hopes and achievements. Most importantly let them know that they are not alone. As you do this you will start to realize that as you help others you help yourself, as you believe in others your own strengths are revealed to you and most importantly you build a community of support that forever reminds you that you are not alone. You will get through this this is just a difficult moment in the life that can be very beautiful fuel allow it to be. Choose the path that will reward you the greatest, help you grow as a person, and show compassion to the world.

I’m now using some voice recognition software and I also intend to begin to create videos and some chickens and inspirational content. If you’d like you can friend me on Facebook David StarrTouch you get access to some of my inspiring messages and to send me a quick message so that I know you’re not a spambot.
